Overhead power lines in Gaza

Gaza terrorists damaged the electrical equipment that provides power to their own region on Tuesday in their zeal to attack their neighbors in southern Israel.

Three power lines feeding southern Gaza were damaged during rocket attacks launched from the Gaza Strip during an attack on Israel, according to Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz.

The minister said it will take several days to repair the equipment in order to restore regular energy supplies to the region.

Steintz instructed the Israel Electric Company not to endanger its employees, however, and to repair the damage only after a lull in the attacks.
