(JNi.media) So now there are two authentic presidential candidates in the race, one of them has an Orthodox Jewish daughter, and it’s not Bernie Sanders.
Comic Jackie Mason told the “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” airing Sunday on AM-970 in NYC, and NewsTalk 990 in Philadelphia, he believes Donald Trump is going to take the Republican nomination and has a good chance of winning the election, because, well, everybody else “stinks.”
“The Republican Party stinks because all of the Republicans have accomplished nothing, and they talk about all of these issues and do nothing about it for a whole lifetime,” Mason said, but “Trump is the only guy who tells the truth, and it threatens all of them. They think he’s threatening the Republican Party.”
Mason then mentioned the random murder of Kate Steinle, who was shot on July 1 in San Francisco by Francisco Sanchez, a Mexican illegal immigrant who had been deported and came back, which, as far as Mason is concerned, “exposed [Republicans] for idiots.”
Now, Mason said, Donald Trump, “who is going to save thousands and thousands of lives with what he said, is the only person they think is a dumbbell.”
As to Trump’s chances in November, 2016, should he win the Republican nomination—currently Trump runs second after Bush in a very crowded field—Mason even thinks Trump could win the White House.
“I see it as very strong possibility that he is going to bury all of them and he is going to come out the big winner,” Mason said.
Now, back in 2007, Jackie Mason told the American Spectator:
I can’t predict the future and I don’t have respect for people who try to. Predictions are preposterous. What usually happens is that people tell you that what they’d like to see happen instead of what they really think will happen. There are so many variations and possibilities that there’s no way to ever really know for certain. I’ve been watching politics for 35 or 40 years and you just never know. You can have one person win the Iowa caucus and then the whole picture changes ten minutes later. The same thing can happen again after New Hampshire. I have no idea what’s going to happen with our country in the future.
Now, that’s some sound thinking!
