2:41pm Cleared for publication by Israel Police: A car with Palestinian Authority plates with 2 PA Arab residents were apprehended at the Oranim checkpoint on Highway 5 an hour ago.
The guards noticed something suspicious about the car and its occupants, and after a careful check, they discovered a hidden cooking gas tank connected to explosives. The explosion would have been massive.

The 2 Arabs have been arrested and a Police sapper is dealing with the car. The driver admitted he was on his way to commit a terror attack.
Duh.
Highway 5 is currently closed in both directions at the checkpoint. (Update: It’s been reopened).
