The Jerusalem District Court sentenced the murderers of Kristine Luken and Neta Blatt-Sorek to multiple life sentences.
Luken was killed by the terror cell while hiking outside Beit Shemesh in 2010, she was stabbed multiple times. Blatt-Soreq was killed a few months earlier in the same region by the same group of terrorists. Kay Wilson survived the Luken attack by pretending to be dead. Her testimony lead to the terror cell being captured.
Kifah Ghanimat, the leader of the terror cell received 2 life sentences plus 60 years.
Ibrahim Ghanimat received a life sentence plus 16 years.
The Ghanimat’s come from the PA controlled town of Surif near Hebron.
Kifah was also identified as a rapist who attacked a Beit Shemesh resident in July 2009. A third terrorist Aiad Fatfata was also involved in the Luken attack.
In court on Thursday, Blatt-Sorek’s mother Dina expressed dismay as she said she is sure the terrorists who killed her daughter will be released soon and that is her “biggest fear” and it frustrates them.
