Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s “Water for the Iranians” video is a smashing success, according to Israel Hayom, a pro-Netanyahu daily newspaper. According to data gathered by Netanyahu’s social network managers, 5 million people watched the new and provocative video within five days since it had been launched, of whom 1.6 million viewers did so directly on Netanyahu’s media channels.
Close to 100,000 Iranians joined Israel’s Telegram channel in Farsi in the first 24 hours after the same video was uploaded. All in all, “Water for the Iranians” is Netanyahu’s second most watched video of all times, the first being his hit “Iranian nuclear archive” from two months ago.
Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian said last week that Netanyahu is seeking to provoke a water conflict within Iran’s population. He said that Iran is a member of the international community and has access to all the tools and technologies to access sufficient water resources.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi called Netanyahu a “deceitful showman,” saying, “I don’t know to what extent one should respond to the remarks of a deceitful showman.”
Qasemi said that “this is not the first time that Netanyahu makes such irrelevant comments,” adding, “The Israeli prime minister had better first stop the massacre of Palestinians and the crimes that he is committing on a daily basis.”

Israeli Foreign Ministry video in Farsi: How does Israel produce water?
In the video, uploaded a week ago, the PM pours himself a nice glass of water and says into the camera: “Today I’m going to make an unprecedented offer to Iran, it relates to water. The Iranian people are victims of a cruel and tyrannical regime that denies them vital water. Israel stands with the people of Iran and that is why I want to help save countless Iranian lives.
“Here’s how: Iran’s meteorological organization says that nearly 96% of Iran suffers from some levels of drought. Issa Kalantara, a former Iranian agriculture minister, said that 50 million Iranians could be forced out of their homes due to environmental damage. 50 million! Millions of Iranian children are suffering due to mismanagement – incompetence and the theft of vital resources by the Iranian regime.
Israeli Foreign Ministry video in Farsi: Israel is a superpower in the water zone
“Now Israel also has water challenges we’ve developed cutting-edge technologies to address them. Israel recycles nearly 90 percent of its waste water, that’s far more than any other country on Earth. We invent a drip irrigation our technology targets individual plants with exactly the nutrients they need for each plant.
“Israel has to know how to prevent environmental catastrophe in Iran.
“I want to share this information with the people of Iran, sadly Iran bans Israelis from visiting. So we’ll have to get creative. We will launch a Farsi website with detailed plans and how Iranians can recycle their wastewater. We will show how Iranian farmers can save their crops and feed their families. The Iranian regime shouts death to Israel in response Israel shouts life to the Iranian people.
“The people of Iran are good and decent they shouldn’t have to face such a cruel regime alone, we are with you we will help so that millions of Iranians don’t have to suffer.
“The hatred of Iran’s regime will not stop the respect and the friendship between our two peoples.”
Israeli Foreign Ministry video in Farsi: A solution to combat the scarcity of water in Israel
While Iranian government officials were attacking Netanyahu and Israel, the PM’s Internet channels were flooded with enthusiastic reactions from Iranian surfers, many of them congratulating Israel and cursing their own regime.
“We are wishing them (the Israelis) death, and they bless us with life,” one Iranian surfer commented. “I am ashamed to be an Iranian.”
Another wrote: “God bless Israel and Netanyahu, I am sure that Iran and Israel will once again be allies.”
