Rav Binny Freedman is the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Orayta in the Old City of Jerusalem and lives in Efrat. Rav Binny received his rabbinic ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of the State of Israel while studying at Yeshivat Har Etzion under the tutelage of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, and pursued his BA and MA in education at the Herzog Teachers’ College in Israel. Rav Binny is an IDF Company Commander who survived the S'barro suicide bombing in Jerusalem.
