Rabbi Israel Becker is musmuch of Rabbinical Seminary of America Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim in Queens. Together with his Rebbetzin, Esther (nee Winter), he established the Congregation Chofetz Chayim Shul and Southwest Torah Institute outreach center in Tucson, Arizona 35 years ago. They have built a beautiful mikveh, Perach Yisrael, on the synagogue’s campus, and have brought expanded kashrus to the city. Through Congregation Chofetz Chayim, the Southwest Torah Institute and their family Shabbos table, the Beckers have impacted many lives. Rabbi Becker says, “I’m here 35 years and I’m just getting warmed up.”
