To refer to the Iran “Agreement” as an agreement is a misconception of what the true situation is. Let us consider the parties involved and who is supposed to ensure that there will be no nuclear weapons in Iran or military facilities there. Consider the UN and the history of inspection, prevention of violence and in general the UN and what they represent and who they represent especially in regards to Israel.
When you purchase something in an “agreement or contract” two parties are involved and one pays for the purchase and the other supplies what was purchased. Two sides are committed to this agreement whether referring to buying vegetables, a car or a signed agreement between two parties.
Remember the Oslo Accord signed on the White House Lawn where the US committed that this agreement was based on “reciprocity”? No more violence directed against Israel by the PA – neither verbal or physical- and Israel would be committed to making concessions to the PA in territory, finances and follow the “Two State Solution Plan”.
What is the result of this? Israel making concessions both in land and finances continuing by releasing terrorists, freezing building in Yesha and even in Jerusalem while the violence escalates , both verbal and physical with the encouragement of the PA and the terrorists who perpetrate and execute terror resulting in injuries and murders of innocent Jews are made into martyrs and they and their families rewarded and paid both by being given honor and money.
OK now back to the Iran Deal- US guarantees, United Nation inspections, and the safety and security of Israel- history has proven that all of this is a misconception to be kind, or to be truthful, a lie and deception . The UN has a track record of concentrating on attacking Israel and ignoring all of the global terror, while even their facilities are used as bases of terror. Now this is not a situation that allows Israel to trust that inspections by the UN will prevent the Iranians from continuing to develop their nuclear weapons- on the contrary.
Israel cannot rely on the Agreement to guarantee our security or safety not now and certainly not in the future as Iran will most probably race ahead with the nuclear weapons, which by the way are not only a danger to Israel, but to the entire world.
