WHAT I THINK OF TRUMP’S PLAN FOR GAZA…

Let’s start with the big picture impact of his plan on the war…

The War Iran & Qatar Started Has Backfired

Let’s be clear: Hamas, Hezbollah, and their Iranian and Qatari backers, launched this war thinking they would weaken Israel. Instead, they have:

– Left Gaza in ruins.
– Destroyed Hamas.
– Severely weakened Hezbollah.
– Led to the toppling of Iran’s ally, Assad, in Syria.
– Left Iran exposed without proper air defenses.
– Set the stage for the loss of Arab self-rule in Gaza.
– Paved the way for the relocation of all Gazans to other locations.

Iran and Qatar, via Hamas and Hezbollah, thought they could break Israel. Instead, they have ensured the opposite—Israel is stronger than ever.

Thank G-d Trump is now President, and the horrendous, back-stabbing Obama/Biden/Harris administrations are gone, and Harris lost! Otherwise, our situation would be much, much worse.

Now, let’s turn to the historic meeting of President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu in the White House and it’s global impact.

We just witnessed something truly historic. The meeting between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu wasn’t just another diplomatic handshake—it was a total game-changer for the Middle East.

The details of Trump’s plan for Gaza are important, the question of the involvement of the US in Gaza is an important one, but they are not the main story.

What truly matters is the complete shift in strategy for the region that emanates from Trump’s announced plan, a strategy that shatters the old paradigms and paves the way for a new future—one that benefits both Israel and the United States.

Trump Just Buried the Palestinian State Delusion

For decades, the world has been obsessed with the idea of a Palestinian state for a fake, invented identity created by the KGB in the 1960s with the sole purpose to destroy Israel.

That delusion is now dead. Trump’s plan acknowledges what should have been obvious all along—the Arabs self-identified as “Palestinians” have never been interesting in having their only state, only in destroying ours!

The Palestinian Authority is corrupt, weak, and supports terror.

And in terms of realistically, there is no reality in which a Palestinian state can function without Gaza, and with Trump’s plan to remove the entire Gazan population, the foundation for a Palestinian state is erased.

For years, Israel has been pressured to make endless concessions, always at our expense. Now, finally, we have a U.S. president who is not just talking about peace—but about winning.

Erasing Iran and Qatar’s Influence from Gaza

The relocation of all Gazans is about much more than just removing a terror-supporting population. It’s a direct hit against Iran and Qatar. These two regimes have been the primary funders and enablers of Hamas. By eliminating Gaza as a base of operations, Iran and Qatar lose a major foothold in the region. This is huge.

But it doesn’t stop there. With U.S. involvement in Gaza, Trump is also sending a strong message to Egypt, which has been quietly building up its military for years, potentially for a future conflict with Israel. American control in Gaza serves as a deterrent, ensuring that Egypt thinks twice before making any hostile moves.

Challenging China’s Global Economic Stranglehold

This isn’t just about Israel or the Middle East. Trump’s vision is global. By establishing a U.S. interest in Gaza and forging a deal with Saudi Arabia, he is working to counter China’s Belt and Road Initiative. China has been using its economic power to dominate global trade routes, but with a U.S.-backed Gaza and an alternative trade route through the Middle East, Trump is striking at the heart of China’s economic ambitions.

This means that what’s happening in Gaza is not just about Gaza. It’s part of a grand strategy that strengthens America while ensuring Israel’s security.

Hamas Will Never Release All Our Hostages or Surrender

Regarding the implementation of Trump’s plan, I believe it is important to still internalize the reality of our situation.

Before we even get to relocating the Gazans, and rebuilding Gaza anew, we must not forget the reality on of our situation. Hamas is still in power in Gaza, receiving humanitarian aid from the international community.

Hamas will never release all of our hostages voluntarily, because our hostages are the only “trump” card that Hamas has to pressure Israel to make concessions. They might release many of them, or even most of them, but they will never release all of them.

On top of that, the whole goal of Hamas is to destroy Israel and remain in control of Gaza. They will never peacefully surrender control of Gaza. Hence, it is very probable that Hamas will fight to the end, pushing Israel to send IDF forces back into Gaza to totally destroy Hamas. That is their nature.

Based on this understanding of our reality, despite Trump’s plan for US involvement in Gaza, it is only a matter of time that Israel will once again be in full control of our ancestral land in Gaza, making it Jewish once more.

The Trump-Netanyahu meeting has reset the entire Middle East.

It has destroyed the illusion of a Palestinian state, struck a major blow to Iran and Qatar, and paved the way for a real future—one where Israel is secure, its enemies are defeated, and its sovereignty is restored.

The Moment We Have Been Waiting For

On a personal level, 20 years ago I protested Israel’s pullout and destruction of the Jewish communities in Gaza, warning that such a plan was a disaster for Israel, and world Jewry. I even left my job and my family for months in order to sneak into the Gaza strip and help the Jewish families in Gaza try to stop the dangerous plan from being implemented.

It is very emotional for me to see the Jewish children from Gaza, who were expelled 19 years ago from their homes, today as many of the brave IDF soldiers fighting today in Gaza, together with my own children.

It has taken 30 years of continuous terror and Jewish deaths, too many deaths, ever since the failed Oslo peace process concept, as if making peace with an enemy whose sole purpose of existence is to destroy Israel, was even feasible.

Oslo was a strategy based on Israeli leaders’ misunderstanding our enemy, and a naivete in the Jewish people who were glaze-eyed about the potential for peace and no longer being the punching bag of the world headlines.

Thanks to a true change in strategic thinking by Netanyahu and Trump that trajectory of constant terror is about to change. And it is thanks to our children, who have been fighting on the battlefield of Gaza in this war, who have brought us to this moment.

These proud Jewish warriors on the battlefield are the generation of Jewish victory in our ancestral homeland.

Regardless of the details of Trump’s plan, we are truly on the path to total victory. And, yes, that includes Jews once again resettling in our historic lands of Gaza.

It is not a question of if, but a question of when.

I look forward to spending Shabbat in a rebuilt Jewish community in Gaza, singing the famous Shabbat song Ka Ribon written by the Chief Rabbi of Gaza, Rabbi Yehuda Najara, back in the 16th century. The time has come to make Gaza Jewish again, not just for our benefit, but for the benefit of the whole freedom-loving world.

Am Yisrael Chai!!!
