Liberals claimed that a gesture by Elon Musk during one of President Trump’s Inauguration appearances was a Nazi salute. Incredibly, even the left-skewing Anti-Defamation League (ADL) defended Musk.
With the left-wing Anti-Defamation League defense, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went absolutely nuts. An Anti-Semite herself, AOC accused Musk of being a Nazi and the ADL of working for “them.’ I assume by them she means GOP (see post below).
Besides the fact that Musk’s salute was not a Nazi one as the other “Lid” Warner Todd Huston pointed out in a post yesterday
But if you believe her, it means you didn’t think it through.
For example, you have to believe that the wealthiest man in the world, who got that way because he is a genius, is an absolute moron.
Think about it: Musk is a man who makes money off a car company by convincing some that an electric car is cool and upscale. He invented a rocket company working with the government to fill a hole in the U.S. space program that sent Astronauts into space by asking Russia to allow an American to ride along with a Russian flight. He purchased Twitter, made changes and additions to make the social media company profitable. Even if he were a Nazi (which he isn’t), Musk would have to be such an imbecile, even dumber than AOC, to “out” himself on national television.
Add to that the fact that the ADL is a left-wing skewing organization run by a guy who worked for Obama. Most of the Antisemitism in America comes from the left, But the ADL never met a left winger it didn’t try to protect. There is no way they would work for the GOP.
Oh, and one more thing. As recently as one month ago, Musk threatened to sue the ADL. So, I guarantee Elon Musk would not be at the top of their defending list.
Along with the stupidity of her claims is the hypocrisy of AOC acting like a fighter against anti-Semitic gestures because she is an anti-Semite herself.
Oh, she doesn’t do it the direct way. Although she does defend Reps Tlaib and Omar’s Antisemitic statements. Unlike her squad buddies, AOC doesn’t make direct Jewish-hating comments. She takes a polite approach. She tells it lies about the indigenous homeland of the Jewish people, which is now known as Israel.
She started crapping on Israel with her very first national appearance when running for Congress in 2018:
In an interview with PBS Firing Line host Margaret Hoover, Ocasio-Cortez said, “What people are starting to see, at least in the occupation of Palestine, is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian condition. That, to me, is just where I tend to come from on this issue.”
Asked to explain what she meant by her use of the word “occupation,” Ocasio-Cortez said, “Oh, I think what I meant is that the settlements that are increasing in some of these areas and places where Palestinians are experiencing difficulty in access to their housing and homes.”
In 2021, she used the canard of calling Israel an apartheid state.
In a letter overflowing with misinformation, Reps. Cori Bush, Andre Carson, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, André Carson, Betty McCollum, Mark Pocan, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib expressed their “extreme concern that US charities are funding and providing direct support to Israeli organizations that are working to expand and perpetuate Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise in violation of international law, including supporting the dispossession and forced displacement of Palestinians from occupied East Jerusalem neighborhoods.”
The vicious screed focused on the Central Fund of Israel, a nonprofit that funds hundreds of important projects in Israel that help the world. CFI Director Jay Marcus called the effort “outrageous and pure Antisemitism” and “their goal is clearly not just to shut down the Central Fund, but all organizations that we fund.”
A record of lying about Israel, like the above, is just more proof that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is lying about Elon Musk and the ADL.
