We salute Brooklyn Democratic County Leader Frank Seddio for announcing his support for New York State Senator Simcha Felder. Seddio said he would oppose any move to oust Felder from the Democratic Party for caucusing with Republicans before the last election, thus giving them the deciding vote that kept them in power.
Felder represents several largely Orthodox neighborhoods in Brooklyn and leveraged his key vote to deliver on issues important to the Orthodox community. Some Democratic Party members want to treat Felder as a traitor to the party and expel him.

But Seddio opposes the move, and for that he deserves our gratitude.
