We note that this week marks the first yahrzeit of Sheldon Silver, z”l. We reported over the years about his unsurpassed accomplishments as an elected official that changed the way members of the Jewish community were able to go about their lives and remain true to their faith. He is sorely missed and we continue to mourn his passing. Our thoughts are with his family. May his memory be for a blessing.
