What is the message the president, the attorney general, and the mayor have just delivered to young people in the black community? That it’s okay if you fabricate, incite racial hatred, perhaps even commit a crime, as long as you make a lot of noise and give lip service to the causes others are seriously laboring over day in and day out in the trenches? And that if you yell loud enough, you will be granted some sort of amnesty?
Can any true leader really hope for a community made up of many Al Sharptons?
