In accordance with his will, his remains were transported to Israel in 1967and reinterred at Moshav Avichayil. Several cities in Israel, including Jerusalem and Beersheba, have streets named Rechov HaNokem in honor of the nokem – avenger – of Ukrainian Jewry.
