The Deal With Iran
Handing Nukes To A Rogue State
The horrendous deal with Iran reflects incompetence, capitulation, and deceit. It constitutes nothing less than a crime against the security of the United States. It literately hands nuclear weapons to a rogue state intent on world destabilization and conquest.
Incredibly, the Islamic Republic will have in hand this destructive power within a few short years.

Another Red Line?
We all should be able to agree that Iran has a very poor record of keeping its word. Granting that, we can also agree that Obama will get his deal through Congress or around Congress.
So Iran gets the sanctions removed, and we give them $150 billion in formerly frozen funds. Now, six months down the line they renege on the deal. What does Obama do then, go to war? Or is it another one of his red lines drawn in the sand?

Pact With The Devil
Now that President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry have followed Neville Chamberlain’s path and signed a pact with the devil, the issues are no longer theoretical or hypothetical.
Not only will Iran attain nuclear-weapon threshold status with America’s blessing, it will also be allowed after five years to purchase, import, and export (likely to Hizbullah) those conventional weapons that are now subject to an embargo.
American Jews were not sufficiently proactive during the Holocaust. We can’t make the same mistake again.
It’s time to contact our senators and representatives to ask their support in disapproving the deal. They are hearing regularly from the administration and are being pressured to support the deal. They need to hear from each of us, regardless of party affiliation, as soon as possible.
Two-thirds of each chamber will need to override any veto of a resolution of disapproval by the end of September. However, that date is misleading. Practically speaking, little time already remains, especially in light of the month-long congressional recess from early August into September and our holidays from September 13 on. The next two weeks are critical, as each official will soon be formulating his or her position.
The telephone number for the Capitol switchboard is 202-224-3121. One can also contact senators and representatives electronically through AIPAC’s home page at aipac.org or through the official’s own website.

Pandora’s Box
If the president believes Iran will cease its nuclear program and its support for international terrorism after the agreement is signed, he is living in a fool’s paradise.
The argument that Iran will no longer develop nuclear bomb technology and will become a peaceful member of the international community is reminiscent of the statement after Munich by British Prime Minister Chamberlain that the agreement with Hitler meant peace in our time. To the contrary, as we know full well, Hitler, who had no intention of living up to the accords, took the concessions and prepared for war.
Iran now will be flush with cash from the lifting of sanctions and will accelerate its efforts to destabilize the Middle East and dominate our allies in the region, with the ultimate objective the destruction of Israel.
Iran already has shown its ability to conceal key elements of its nuclear program from the U.S. Certainly a paper agreement with the Iranians will self-destruct at the whim of its rulers. We have opened a Pandora’s box.

Obama’s Disdain For Congress
Has there ever been an American president who exhibited as much contempt for Congress as Obama? He was going to totally bypass it with regard to any nuclear agreement with Iran. He relented only when it was obvious Congress would not sustain a veto that would shut it entirely out of the picture,.
