I was deeply hurt and offended when a publication I’ve always admired for putting Jews and Jewish interests ahead of domestic American politics and American politicians of either party chose to downplay the disgusting omission of Jews in a White House statement commemorating the victims of the Holocaust. You would have – rightly – screamed bloody murder if Obama or Hillary Clinton had omitted Jews from anything Holocaust-related.

I hope that Trump will move the U.S. embassy to Yerushalayim, but wonder how The Jewish Press will justify it if he does not – and there are already indications he may be looking to back away from that promise.
