Jim Acosta: Try Obeying Rules
It’s difficult to understand how revoking the White House press pass of CCN’s Jim Acosta turned into such a legal issue. Bars, restaurants, libraries, movie theaters and a host of other institutions have the right to eject unruly patrons. In fact, many bars and nightclubs hire bouncers just for that purpose.
I’ve never heard of a bar being sued for escorting out a patron who doesn’t comply with its rules or generally-accepted norms.
Does Acosta have the right to cause disruptions in a library, restaurant, or theater just because he has a press pass? Of course not. So how does he get that right in the White House?
When Acosta acts up at a White House press conference, he should be escorted off the grounds – with his press pass.

Was Brenda Snipes Hashem’s Shliach?
Hashem’s divine justice gave Scott the win! This is not a hypothetical statement. Consider the following:
After multiple recounts, Gov. Rick Scott won Florida’s U.S. Senate race by 10,033 votes. In the voting swamp of Broward County, 26,000 voters cast ballots for the gubernatorial race but not for the Senate race. The only county among Florida’s 67 counties with such a huge disparity was Broward County.
Given that Scott’s opponent, Bill Nelson, got 70 percent of Broward votes, it is accurate to say that this disparity cost him 18,200 votes, which would have put him over the top.
What was responsible for this discrepancy? Ballot design. And who was ultimately in charge of the ballot design? Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes – the Democrat’s poster child for corruption, entitlement, and incompetence, who nonetheless continues to be compensated at $177,000 a year with benefits.
So, thank you, Debbie Wasserman Shultz and other influential South Florida Democrats. You gladly tolerated Snipes’ outrageous and illegal behavior in the 2016 election – and now she cost you a Senate seat. Baruch Hashem.

How Long Till Hamas Breaks the Ceasefire?
Previous cease-fires have been broken by Hamas at its convenience, and there is no reason to think this cease-fire will be any different. When Hamas has regained strength, after partial removal of sanctions, there will be a renewal of hostilities under less favorable circumstances for Israel. Again, the inhabitants of southern Israel will have to bear the brunt of it.

Power Masquerading As Munificence
The brave elected officials calling for the abolishment of the Office of Public Advocate via a voter referendum should be applauded. Any public opinion poll will tell you that the average citizen believes taxpayers would be better off if the useless Office of Public Advocate didn’t exist.
It has only provided temporary employment for the likes of Mark Green, Betsy Gotbaum, Bill de Blasio, and Letitia James, all of whom used the office as a stepping stone for higher office. They couldn’t stop holding press conferences, issuing news releases, releasing reports, and writing guest columns in newspapers – all in an effort to raise their political profile.
New York City’s 59 community planning boards and municipal agencies provide better customer service to residents that any public advocate does. The same is true of New York City Council members, boro presidents, and the city comptroller, who periodically conduct audits of municipal agencies. The Office of Public Advocate just duplicates these functions with taxpayers paying twice for the same services.
No one would notice if the Office of Public Advocate were abolished. Funding for this office would be better spent on critical municipal services like transportation, law enforcement, firefighting, sanitation, and education.

The Snow Shutdown
An early Thanksgiving thank-you to my daughter’s school bus driver for keeping the girls safe during Thursday’s snow storm.
Bill De Blasio and other local Democrats were asleep during this crisis. And instead of taking responsibility, they laid the blame on their constituents and president. Shame on them!

Who Knew RFK Was So Pro-Israel?
Saul Jay Singer’s “Collecting Jewish History” column is fascinating. I would never have dreamed that Robert F. Kennedy was such a strong champion of Jews and the establishment of the State of Israel – especially considering that his father, Joseph Kennedy, was known to be an anti-Semite.
Thanks for the great history lesson. One thing it teaches us is: It’s possible for a man to learn to hold opposite beliefs from those of his father. So, yes, terrorism need not be passed on father to child indefinitely.

Schumer And Nadler Couldn’t Care Less
Nadler and Schumer don’t voice their support for Jewish causes because they know there aren’t enough Jewish votes to vote them in or out of office. Nadler and Schumer are politicians first and maybe Jews somewhere down the line.
As soon as an election is over, the only question politicians care about is “How do I get re-elected?” The issues they campaigned on and the people who voted them in become meaningless. They are infantile, egotistical people who only care about self-preservation.
At this point, I would vote for just about anyone else other than Chuck and Jerry. Besides, they’ve been there long enough; give someone else a chance.

Settlement Support Must Increase
Anti-Israel organizations are behind the pressure on Air B&B, including the radical left Kerem Navot, which is financed by the European Union and separately by the German, Sweden, and Belgian governments. Other organizations, such as Jewish Voice for Peace and Pink Code, also lobbied against Air B&B in the United States.
Our response must be to increase the number of tourists to Judea and Samaria. Support for settlements is actually rising among people across the world, and we intend to multiply our efforts.
