Eitz chaim he l’machazikim bah – it [Torah] is a Tree of Life to those who take hold of it.

How do we each “take hold” of it?

If our deeds are the individual trees, what’s the big picture?

What fruits do we hope to bear in the coming year? What kind of forest are we trying to cultivate?

This Elul, remember:

It’s not just about your weaknesses and “failings.”

Assess your threats, strengths and opportunities.

Identify your resources – and use them.

Plan – your forest. (Don’t go quietly into that good year.)

Plant. Cultivate and nourish your trees.

Prune as necessary.

Prosper and advance in your mission.

Make the best of your time in the woods.

Wishing all a terrific Annual Report!
