Next year, let the college campuses have their Israel Apartheid Week. But let us answer them with a Palestine Terror Week. Possible speakers come easily to mind – the family of Malki Roth, a young woman murdered while getting a slice of pizza; the family of Koby Mandell, a young man brutally killed while hiking near his home; the family of Gilad Shalit, one of several missing Israeli soldiers. Sadly, there are thousands more first-hand accounts we can draw on.
This is the time for my generation to speak out. The battle for the minds of college students, the next generation of citizens, is on. So far, only one side of the story is being told. That is neither good for my education nor good for our community.
