As the wife of Edward’s grandson, I was overwhelmed when I saw the World War II list of Submarines Losses from 1941-1945. My eyes immediately drifted to the name at the bottom of the first column: USS Bullhead SS 332. Thankfully, the accompanying document containing the list of casualties of those who were on board the USS Bullhead does not contain my grandfather’s name.
How grateful we are to Hashem for his extraordinary act of divine providence!
