According to Rav Akiva Eiger, this question is resolved since, as we explained, there is arvus for this mitzvah between men and women and, thus, a man can be motzi a woman who already davened. However, according to the Nodeh B’Yehuda, it is indeed problematic for him to motzi her.

Rav Akiva Eiger suggests a solution, even according to the Nodeh B’Yehuda. He says that if the woman says “Gut Shabbos,” she fulfills her obligation of Kiddush m’d’Oraisa and he can then recite Kiddush on her behalf since both their obligations are now rabbinic.
