Every shevet had his flag and essence that he brought to the Jewish people. Even though the korban was the same, the intentions were different. We have the privilege of having a Torah that allows us to live our lives to the fullest with meaning and purpose. May we all find fulfillment, tranquility and inner peace in all we do!

Kenesseth Israel has 80 member families and is part of the Orthodox Jewish community in Minneapolis, which is about 300 families strong. The community has a Torah Tots daycare-pre-k housed in Torah Academy, the Jewish day school of Minneapolis, with over 250 students.

Three and a half years ago, the Yeshiva of Minneapolis High School opened and will have a 12th grade next year. The girls Bais Yaakov recently purchased a new building, with a capital campaign currently underway to expand the space and offerings for the growing number of girls that will be attending in the future.

There is a Lakewood Kollel which has infused the community with a tremendous amount of youth and energy. And there are also state-of the-art mikvaot.

The recent opening of Prime Deli, a kosher steak restaurant, has been featured in local press for its great food and beautiful presentation with affordable prices. Vitali’s Bistro, Minneapolis’s kosher dairy restaurant, is a great compliment to its meat counterpart. They also feature live music throughout the year.
