The funniest thing this tearful morning was to hear Arik Einstein’s eulogy on the radio, first by President Shimon Peres and then by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, followed by singer’s last interview, where he’s screaming about the abuses of the country’s permanent establishment, how we have a beautiful country and sweet people and such a horrible government.

So much irony, so little time.
