Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, who’s running for reelection today, stood on a porch overlooking the City of David archaeological site yesterday. It’s innocent enough a photo op, but, let’s face it, every time a Zionist politician stands on a porch, it brings to mind Theodor Hertzl in Basel.
Here’s a depiction of that same photo op, in the city of Dimona, way down in the desert.
And here’s the image of Hertzl over a water tower on the side of Highway 2, in Hertzliya, the city named after the great visionary.
