Here’s a giraffe at the at the Ramat Gan Safari, checking out the incoming cars. If this appears intrusive to you, you’re starting to catch what it’s like to be a zoo animal… Also, in Israel, folks are pretty friendly, and this kind of close inspection by strangers is not considered to be so intrusive.

If you want intrusive, drive a few yards ahead into the lion’s area and come to a full stop. You’ll get inspected…
