This is the FDR Drive Friday night. The uptown going lanes have been cleared, the downtown not so much yet.

The Eastern Seaboard has received its first serious snow blast of the season. After the barrage of complaints from our Israeli friends about their plight of being stuck without services and mobility for as many as 4 days – it’s time to see how our American friends are doing it. All the images here are published courtesy of my friends at the Lower East Side Lo-Down.

This is my turf, Grand Street, the pink structure on the left is the Henry Street Settlement art center. On the right is the Lower East Side mikvah.
