This morning we blew shofar in shul after the service. The sound (lucky us) came out bright and clear. Our souls were touched (so so) and we set out on the spiritual path leading from the Selichot to Rosh Hashanah, then Yom Kippur, then Sukkot, then Simchat Torah then a nice, long, uneventful November.

Did you know Chanukah and Thanksgiving are on the same day this year? Thursday, November 28.
