This is Sylvester, our Tuxedo cat, sitting on our panorama window overlooking the front yard, with our menorah.
This may be a good time to confess that we’re using regular, Shabbat candles for our menorah. After years of messing with the oil and the wicks and the floaters, we returned to my family’s tradition, although we’re only using the skinny, little candles for the Shamash, and the white wax candles for, well, rank and file candles.

Sylvester doesn’t care, either way. He’s a cat.
