Mordechai Brener posted this image on Facebook, and it might be the most emphatic statement on the Arab-Israeli conflict in some time.
The sign the soldier in the picture is holding up says: “If we had 10,000 likes we could respond to the stone throwing.”
It could also be translated as saying: “As soon as we have 10,000 likes, we’ll respond to the stone throwing.”
This is a Peter Pan cry for applause to save Tinkerbell.
There is a point in the play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, by J. M. Barrie, where Captain Hook puts poison in Peter’s dose of medicine and Tinker Bell saves Peter by drinking the poison herself, and she can only to be revived by the applause of the theater audience.
In this case, the IDF is our diminished Tinkerbell.
Clap your hands, people, clap your hands!!!
