The IDF’s Golani Brigade concluded their beret march last week. That’s your basic training hike to nowhere that tests every part of your body.

Here’s an image of a guy in a “helmet yarmulke” at the end of the murderous hike. He looks happy. Happiness on such occasions can be contagious.

We need more guys in big yarmulkes who can crack a huge smile after walking a couple dozen miles. Everybody is talking about how good it would be for Haredi youngsters if they enlist in the IDF. Few people are aware of how amazing it would be for the IDF, to suddenly live side by side with thousands of guys who don’t curse, don’t chase women, thank God every time they eat.

Personally, I can’t wait for the transformation.
