This picture was taken on August 16, 2005, the day after the 9th of Av. It shows IDF soldiers helping residents of the community Nissanit pack their belongings. Tenderly, they collected the holy books of the synagogue that was later burned down to the ground. Sweetly they piled the 300 families, some of whom had lived there since 1984, onto the waiting buses. Lovingly they destroyed the lives of more than a thousand people.

Get ready for some more of that outpouring of brotherly (and sisterly) love soon enough. Watch as they clear our homes carefully for the torching, line us up supportively for the hanging. Such wonderful brothers and sisters we have.

Such love, such care, had to have been invented by the devil himself.
