Hundreds of Druze on Israel’s Golan Heights, held a rally on Sunday along the Syria border marking 45 years since the Yom Kippur War, showing support for the Bashar Assad regime in Syria.

Around 20,000 Druze live on the Golan Heights, which Israel captured from the Syrians in 1967, and later extended Israeli law to the region in 1981. There are approximately 130,000 Druze living in Israel, most of whom serve in the IDF.
