Yishai and Malkah kick off this week’s show by talking about the recent blizzard in Israel and the fun the Fleishers had in the Gush Etzion town of Neve Daniel. Reflecting on the Jewish world for the week, Malkah let’s us in on the hippest word in the Netherlands and what it might really mean. Yishai shares the powerful experience of his recent visit up to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem including a personal conversation he had with an official of the Muslim Wakf on potential projects Jews and Arabs can agree on (pictured in the photo). Improving heritage sites is an increasing focus of the Israeli government and may be an area for collaboration and widespread internatioal support. The segment ends with a report from Netivot by Uriah Mosby, on the yahrtzeit of the revered Moroccan sage Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira, popularly known as the Baba Sali.
