(23:02). Don’t miss the end of the show with shout-outs to Colonel Ghassan Alian the first Druze commander of the Golani Brigade, and Mustafa Tabash, the first Bedouin tank commander. Mustafa was quoted as saying, “When it is hard for the other soldiers, they look at me who as Bedouin did not have to enlist and this helps them and sets an example”.

Moshe Herman has been actively involved in Israel activism since founding the first pro-Israel student organization at Boise State University in 2007. He has been a member of several panels and discussion groups with topics ranging from interfaith dialogue in the Middle East to Israel’s importance as a Jewish state and holds dual US/Israeli citizenship.
