Dr. Mordechai Kedar is Research Associate at the BESA Center for Strategic Studies at Bar Ilan University, a renowned expert on radical Islam, and served for 25 years as Lt. Col. in Israeli military intelligence (and still in the reserves as part of the Northern Command.) He joins Yishai in-studio to spell out the religious motivations of Islamic State terrorists, President Obama’s outsourcing of Iran as a tool against ISIS and future scenarios for the Middle East.

Then, Alex Selsky, the newest and one of the youngest members of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors — who is also the CEO of the World Forum of Russian-Speaking Jewry and formerly served as adviser to PM Benjamin Netanyahu — joins Yishai in-studio to talk about the Israeli Russian-speaking electorate and how its voting patterns and political allegiances have changed over the years. He also delves into the workings of modern Russia, President Vladimir Putin and the murder of former Russian Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov.

Moshe Herman has been actively involved in Israel activism since founding the first pro-Israel student organization at Boise State University in 2007. He has been a member of several panels and discussion groups with topics ranging from interfaith dialogue in the Middle East to Israel’s importance as a Jewish state and holds dual US/Israeli citizenship. Following the horrific attacks of October 7th, 2023, Herman joined the Idaho Israel Alliance as Executive Director where he helps build and strengthen the connection to Israel across the State of Idaho.
