Yishai is called in again to debate on the AlJazeera network, this time for the rights of Jews on the Temple Mount. Then, gentile friends visit the VOI studios and discuss the importance of broadcasting unbiased information from Israel. Finally, the Rabbi Freundel scandal of alleged voyeurism has many repercussions including rocking the lives of the hundreds of converts to Judaism whose process he oversaw. Bethany Mandel – one of The Jewish Week’s “36 under 36” – was one of Rabbi Freundel’s converts and is still bitter about the experience. Now she has written an article calling for “A bill of rights for Jewish converts.”

Moshe Herman has been actively involved in Israel activism since founding the first pro-Israel student organization at Boise State University in 2007.
