MK Sharren Haskel (Likud) is in the hospital for treatment, but since Opposition leader Tzipi Livni did not want to offer the courtesy of offsetting a vote from their side, Haskel had to go to the Knesset by ambulance with an IV in her arm, against her doctor’s orders, to show up for the vote.

Once the opposition learned the government had a 61-seat majority, they pulled all 3 of their bills to disperse the Knesset.
