Leonard Cohen Singing Hallelujah

Lenny Cohen is where I’ve been going most of my life for a reflection of my own sadness. He doesn’t lie about the human condition, he doesn’t offer false hope, heck, he doesn’t offer much hope at all. But if beauty in the face of hardship is what you’re looking for, there’s a wellspring of beauty in hardship there.

We live in dangerous times. We live in uncertain times. Folks we don’t even know hate us for reasons we don’t fully understand. Without beauty in our lives – where would we be?

So I turn to this wordsmith to carve out yet another slice of beauty from this divine word, Hallelujah.

Hallelujah.
