In a way it’s a compliment.
US President Trump, while meeting with Israel’s President Rivlin in Jerusalem, after arriving in Israel on a direct flight from Saudi Arabia on Monday said, “We just go back from the Middle East.”

It’s an understandable mistake. A lot of people in Israel also don’t always realize they are in the Middle East.
But that guy on the right side of the video, he may soon be out of a job for smirking.
