Arab terrorists on Wednesday night threw explosive charges at an IDF force operating in the outskirts of the Arab village of Ya’abed, in Samaria (Shomron).
In another attack, Arab terrorists threw a bomb at the Jalameh crossing in the area of the Menashe regional brigade.
No Israelis were wounded and either of the incidents.
In related news, IDF forces carrying out counter-terrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria during the night arrested 11 Arabs suspected of involvement in terrorist activity and in violent actions against civilians and security forces. The suspects were taken for questioning.
Israeli Forces conducting a search to find weapons in the village of Kabalan in the area of the Shomron regional brigade found a Carlo submachine gun and confiscated it. A suspect was arrested for questioning.
The Carlo is a locally produced weapon, manufactured in illegal workshops.
The police stated that “illegal weapons are often used to carry out attacks, commit crimes, and commit acts of violence. Therefore, the Israeli police and security forces will continue their resolute and uncompromising struggle and will work tirelessly in cooperation with all relevant bodies to reduce the number of illegal weapons.”
In addition, IDF forces operating in the Arab village of Beit Ula in the Judea area seized funds meant for terrorism worth more than NIS 100,000.
