IDF fighter pilots have eliminated three terrorists in an air strike on a vehicle traveling through central Gaza, security sources said Tuesday afternoon. One of the goals of Israel’s current Operation Protective Edge is to take out the Hamas leadership with targeted assassinations, government officials have said.

One of the dead is the commander of a Hamas elite naval unit.
