An overnight drama late Sunday night ended happily after a family of five that set sail on Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) on Sunday afternoon was found after being declared missing hours before.
Emergency services received a report about a family of five, parents and their three children, who had not returned from a ride in a sailboat on the Kinneret.

Search teams on several boats and in helicopters searched for hours until they found the family in the water, clinging to their capsized vessel. They were found by using thermal night vision.
One person was suffering from hypothermia and is in moderate condition. The rest were in light condition and were released after being treated at Poriya Hospital in Tiberius.
