Six Jerusalem Arabs were indicted for allegedly attempting to set up an ISIS cell in Israel, according to a police report.

The six residents of the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat were identified and captured through a joint operation by the police and the Shabak.

According to the indictment, the six tried to set up the ISIS cell and commit a series of terror attacks, with the focus on Jerusalem as well as in Tel Aviv.

The cell began operating in 2015, until August 2016.

During that time, they tried to make contact and enlist ISIS, and they set up classes to learn ISIS ideology, where they met a few times a week –presumably to discuss the best way to cut off people’s heads and burn them alive.

Some of the members tried to travel to Syria to join the fighting.
