Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with Chinese Internet entrepreneur Jack Ma at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos January 21, 2016.

Jack Ma, the founder of the giant Chinese eCommerce company Alibaba is visiting Israel with a delegation of 35 senior executives, according to a report in Globes.

Ma specifically wanted to visit sites related to Jewish heritage and the Jewish people’s return to our homeland. He’ll also meet with PM Netanyahu.

In November 2017, Alibaba purchased its first Israeli startup, Visualead, for between $30-$50 million.

Jack Ma is worth an estimated $42.4 billion.
