ISIS also has one other factor that spells its doom in Egypt, and its name is Israel.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said last night:
We are together with Egypt and other states in the Middle East and the world in the struggle against radical Islamic terrorism.
It was not mere rhetoric. Israel was happy to break precedent Wednesday by agreeing to allow Egypt to roll in heavy weapons into the Sinai, where troop movements are restricted by the peace treaty.
The peace treaty between Israel and Egypt has often been scorned as a tattered piece of paper. Egyptians do not love Israel. They hate it. They hate Jews.
But their survival against the ISIS partly depends on Israel, which will be happy see the ISIS beheaded for once.
