Arab violence continued late Monday afternoon with an attack on Israeli Border Guard Police officers stationed along the security fence in central Israel.
Armed Arab rioters hurled firebombs and stones at Israeli Border Guard Police officers in Samaria.
There were about two dozen attackers, some of whom were also carrying knives and slingshots.
The officers were attacked while they were guarding the security fence near the Palestinian Authority-controlled Arab city of Qalkilya.
Several of the rioters were arrested by Israeli forces and transferred to security personnel for further questioning.
