Asher Hayoun has been appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to become the new director of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Prior to accepting the position, Hayoun served as chief of staff to Housing and Construction Minister Yoav Galant.

He is expected to serve under PMO Chief of Staff Yoav Horowitz in the new post.
