Police remove the body of Mu’taz Hijazi from his roof in Abu Tor following a shootout with police.

The gun and motorcycle used to shoot Temple Mount activist Yehudah Glick have been found.

Early this morning, police killed Mu’taz Hijazi, in a shootout at his home in Abu Tor. Hijazi is the prime suspect for the assassination attempt on Yehuda Glick last night.

Both the gun and the motorcycle were found in Hijazi’s home.

Hijazi previously spent a decade in jail, and was a member of the Islamic Jihad terrorist group. It is reported that he actually worked at the restaurant in the Begin Center.
