A balloon bomb arrived as far north as the Negev capital city of Be’er Sheva late Tuesday night, touching down into the new cemetery of the city shortly after 11 pm.

The Israel Police bomb squad was summoned to the scene. A sapper immediately got started with the delicate task of trying to defuse the explosive before it detonated suddenly by itself, or by prior remote setting.
