IDF reportedly attacked the Hamas stronghold of Shajaiya overnight and throughout the morning.
The IDF has been warning Shajaiya residents for two days to leave the area. Reports indicate most did.

Hamas is trying to milk the reported battle, and rewrite the narrative as a one-side massacre.
In a PR move, Hamas asked for a cease fire to collect dead bodies. Israel has agreed to a short cease fire.
